Hong Kong International Airport has launched a convenient new travel service called “Park & Fly,” designed to make it easier for passengers from the Greater Bay Area (GBA) to reach their flights. The service officially began on November 15, 2025, and it offers a smooth, self-driven connection straight to the airport through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB). Read More
A Faster, Smoother Way to Reach the Airport
The new setup allows eligible private car owners from Macao and select Guangdong cities to drive directly to the airport area without going through the usual border checks in Hong Kong. The process is simple:
Drive Through the HZMB: Travelers can use their car to reach the Hong Kong Port area and enter a new five-story automated car park built close to the airport.
Automated Parking System: After parking the vehicle in the drop-off bay, an advanced automated system takes over and securely parks the car. The facility is the first of its size in Hong Kong.
Direct Airport Access: Passengers are then transported by a bonded shuttle bus straight into the airport’s restricted area. Since they do not pass through Hong Kong immigration, the entire journey becomes much quicker and more convenient.
Boosting Hong Kong's Role as a Regional Hub
The “Park & Fly” facility currently offers 1,800 parking spaces, with expansion plans to accommodate up to 3,000 vehicles in the future. The airport expects this service to strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a key international gateway for the Greater Bay Area, making travel smoother for both business and leisure passengers.
