Dubai has expanded its “Red Carpet” AI corridor, a groundbreaking passport-free departure system. This fully automated, document-free process allows passengers to complete immigration and security checks in seconds by simply walking through a corridor.

• How it works: Facial recognition combined with integrated flight data verifies identity and confirms boarding details without passports or paper passes.
• Current status: Available for departing passengers at Terminal 3 (Emirates hub), with expansion to arrivals and other terminals underway.
