Pago Pago International Airport also known as Tafuna Airport, is a public airport located 7 miles (11.3 km) southwest of the central business district of Pago Pago, in the village and plains of Tafuna on the island of Tutuila in American Samoa, an unincorporated territory of the United States. 3,099 flights arrived at Pago Pago International Airport in 2014, down from 3,665 in 2013. Incoming flights carried 55,728 passengers in 2014, while flights carrying 57,355 passengers took off from the airport.

It is located in the village of Babushara next to the larger village of Dranda and some 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Sukhumi, the capital of the autonomous republic. The airport was built in the mid-1960s, when the region was part of the Soviet Union. In the Soviet era, it was used only for domestic flights, primarily to transport people from across the Soviet Union to the sunny beaches of Abkhazia.

It is located near the town of Alofi, and is only used by Air New Zealand, flying to and from Auckland twice a week, departing Auckland on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and departing Niue on Mondays and Fridays. The airport was opened in December 1970, at which time it was served by Fokker F.27 Friendship aircraft. From 1990 to 1992, it served as the base of the now-defunct Niue Airline.

NAURU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The airport currently connects the country to one international passenger destination (Brisbane, Australia), served by Nauru's national airline, Nauru Airlines. The airstrip was built during the World War II Japanese occupation of Nauru using forced labour. Operations began in January 1943. After the war, it was converted to a civilian airport.

CASSIDY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
